Showcase presentation day is finally here.
some of the things that I would like to demonstrate in the project would be first of all what we did and what materials we needed to complete the project.
Second, explain a little about the NV3000 card and the video card and how we installed them into the desktop.
Next proceed to show her the actual camera and how it functions and what other features are available on the site.
Also, talk a little about the process of actually mounting the camera and passing the wires through the roof..
To conclude my project the best thing to do is to actually show her some of the screenshots we have been able to take since we first began using the security system.

My job today in internship was to play around and get to know well the security system for my showcase project. I now know how to control it take picture and also playback things that happened earlier in the day. The program itself is very explanatory because every button is labeled with what it does. During the night the camera works very well because it has infrared, so any person can still be identified if they come in at night. The security system will remain on so the next time I'm here I will be able to see what has gone on during the day and night.

We finally got the camera for the security system working and today I was able to play around a little with the camera and learn how to use it properly. I am now a little more familiar with the program we are using foe the camera. While we were installing the cameras we came across a few problems that involved system requirements for the NV3000 video surveillance card. Security System

In my internship today we were able to discuss what we wanted to do for my showcase project. Mr. Liu emphasized time constraints with me telling me we have many projects going on like my web design page and also trying to install a surveillance system here at the store. It will not be a problem to finish both projects I just hope the showcase goes as planned.

Internship today was very interesting. Today, I was able to learn about windows XP and how to install a driver. Before I could do this though I had to install Google chrome onto the computer like at 1:55 and it took about five minutes to install. Afterwards my research for a driver began. I was searching for a driver for the computer chip called Avermedia card NV3000. I found one so I'm hoping it will work for what it is needed.
 

Making sure all of your work done right is a very important thing. Today, I learned that because after I completed the menu for the restaurant Oliver and I recorded a few videos to upload to YouTube. This way the customer can have an idea of what his menu will look like and the waiters and cashiers have an idea of how to use it. We were able to show them how to print out split tickets, how to log in according to your job position and how to select things off the menu. I'm completely sure the customer and everyone at the restaurant will find this helpful.

Today in my internship I am learning that I must be responsible to finish my work here so I can give the best quality work to the customer. I am learning how to organize and add detail to a restaurant menu.

Today in my internship I was told to research a card with the number C117-D. As my research went on I was able to figure out that the card was a DVR surveillance card. This articular card  was made by AVerMedia and it  has the name AVerMedia Card NV3000 ite 4-ch 25FPS hybrid. The link below explain a little more about the card and what it is capable of doing.

The machine is in update mode so we rebooted the computer. It is taking a while for it to update but it should be working fine.

I will be able to post on my own from now on. Also this is where I will be posting things I learn from my internship.

Today in my internship at University Computer I was able to learn many new things. For example, today I was able to setup a computer and install a anti virus. Also, I learned new Microsoft terminology like Database engine, Dot net frame work and Application program.
